Personal Training

  1. The client must have completed a PAR-Q form and (if applicable) must have medical approval to undertake a new exercise regime.

  2. Direct debit Payments are for a monthly coaching service. The monthly coaching service shall include written check-ins, nutritional guidance and ongoing support as required, as well as an appropriate exercise programme. any agreed actions are part of a collaboration between coach and client and the client shall have access to the interactive online platform.

  3. direct debit fees are calculated on an average of 48 weeks of in person sessions to allow for 4 weeks of holidays and absences for the client and the personal trainer. any sessions missed above this amount can be rescheduled in addition to regular sessions.

  4. If the client has opted to buy a bundle of 6 sessions, these should be used within an 3 month period. Bundles of 10 sessions should be used within a 5 month period. Clients will receive ongoing support and exercise programmes for the duration of the bundle.

  5. For in person sessions paid for in bundles or via direct debit, a preferred time slot or time slots may be agreed. if this is the case then the client shall have priority over that timeslot.

  6. PAYG sessions will not be guaranteed a regular time slot as priority will be given to those paying by direct debit or who have paid for bundles and need to fit in their sessions.

  7. if the client or trainer gives advance notice of being unable to make their arranged timeslot, an alternative time will be offered where possible. if this is not possible then the client shall receive an appropriate workout to do independently.

  8. Appointment slots are valuable and carefully timetabled. For this reason a 24 hour cancellation policy is applied to scheduled sessions. Sessions cancelled by the client less than 24 hours in advance will not be rearranged and will count as a missed session. The cancellation policy will be adhered to in all cases.

  9. If the session is cancelled within 24 hours by the Personal Trainer, the personal trainer shall endeavour to find a suitable time to move the session to and the client shall receive an appropriate workout to do independently.

  10. there will be no alterations to the monthly coaching fee for missed sessions.

  11. Sessions will consist of activities that are designed to help the client achieve their goals. Exercise levels will be progressive and regulated by the trainer.

Pilates Classes

  1. payments for all classes must be made at the time of booking via the online booking system on this website.

  2. those attending classes at Karma Studios have the option to buy a pack of 6 classes for an upfront payment of £72 (£12 each) to be used within 60 days of purchase. any classes not used within this time will not be carried over or extended.

  3. those attending Classes at the chancery have the option to buy a pack of 6 classes for an upfront payment of £72 (£12 each) to be used at any point throughout the duration of their pregnancy. any classes not used within this time will not be carried over or extended.

  4. online classes are via the Zoom video conferencing app. recordings of the class are available on request and are valid for 7 days after the time of the original class.

  5. If for any reason the instructor needs to cancel a class and payment has already been made, this payment will carry over to the next class.

  6. those partaking in an exercise class should consider themselves fit to exercise. If necessary, they should seek medical clearance before undertaking a new physical activity. Whilst every care will be taken to give safe instruction, it is up to participants to listen to their body and not to push themselves beyond their physical limitations.

Corporate Classes

  1. The company should advise potential participants they should consider themselves fit to exercise.   2. The instructor will do thier best to ensure the class is delivered under all circumstances, finding an alternative instructor if necessary.

  3. classes cancelled by the company with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged.

  4. Invoices for classes delivered will be provided on a class by class basis or a monthly basis as per agreement with the company.

  5. All invoices must be paid within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
